About Daniel Buccieri

I started my wine career creating and writing The New York WinePage Newsletter, followed by becoming the wine manager of a major New York wine manufacturing and distribution company called Peerless - Colony LLC. After 10 years in that industry, I opened up a specialty wine shop in Upstate New York called the Napa Valley Wine Company. The main customer base of the store was very serious wine collectors. They bought and sought out the most price-worthy wines in the world, including California Cabernet Sauvignons, French Bordeaux and Burgundies, as well as the best red wines from around the world.

Throughout the years, I've become known as "Dan the Wine Man." I've helped people design and build their own private wine cellars, as well as advised them on what to collect, how long to keep them, and how to liquidate these assets should they need to in the future. Some of the wines I suggested they buy for collecting have realized significant profits.

I've also counseled clients about the wines in their cellar that may be too old to drink and enjoy. Their cellar is sick in a way and needs to be cleared out of any wines that are no longer valuable or consumable.

In the wine business for over 25 years.
